Playball is a pre-sport and movement programme designed specifically for young children
Playball aims to make sure young children enjoy sports participation. Through a “multi-activity” approach, kids get a feeling of fulfilment by experiencing success in a fun, positive, happy and confidence-building environment. Coaches get kids moving and enjoying themselves while learning a range of new sports skills in a pressure-free environment.
Focusing on developing physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills, the programme makes learning sports easy and enjoyable. It covers skills such as throwing, jumping, catching, and coordination and during any Playball lesson, your child will get to experience many different sports skills from basketball to tennis, rugby, soccer, hockey, netball, cricket, baseball and rugby. By introducing young children to a range of different sports, Playball gives them the confidence to try new things.
Playball is structured into various age groups, each with tailored developmentally appropriate activities that cater to the needs of each child. It is all about kids getting active and playing different sports, all the while growing in confidence and forming a positive self-image.
Playball helps young children by:
- Teaching a broad range of sports skills.
- Enhancing social skills and physical development.
- Providing a fun, structured, and confidence-building environment.
