Welcome to the January 2025 Newsletter From The Vines
We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year with your families and friends!
Director’s Reflection of 2024
Welcome back to a new year at The Vines!
We hope our families and children were able to enjoy some relaxing downtime throughout the Christmas period.
Lots of our team were able to take a much-needed break, while others chose to work through. They took their well-earned holiday breaks either before Christmas or will do so at a later stage.
2024 was a big year for us at The Vines
While we focused on continuing to grow and stabilising our team, we also had Hailee step up from being a Head Teacher on the floor. She is now the Vines’ first Centre Management.
Hailee has taken on the challenge and continues to guide and support our team to be the best they can be.
Growing bigger and better
2024 was also a year of tremendous role growth across the centre, which has been awesome. Many of our enquiries come from recommendations or word of mouth in the local community. This is a true reflection of the fact that we are building a great reputation in our area. This comes from our wonderful teaching team providing the high-quality care and education that as owners we are striving to achieve for our families.
I love this centre so much and am happy that both my children have had the chance to experience the magic of the place.
Massive thanks to the staff and teachers for all their hard work and knowledge.
Growing quality education
This year while we continue to build on our quality teaching team, we are also slightly shifting our focus towards education and how we can further strengthen this area. This is a particular focus for us in our preschool room. We will look at ways we can further enhance our ready-for-school programme.
Hailee is working with our preschool teachers to look at ways to grow and further support this. A programme like this provides us with a point of difference. We are also looking to incorporate collaborative work with our local Henderson schools.
Our Christmas Market Day
Our Christmas Market Day was fantastic and was hugely supported by everyone. It was lovely to see so many of our families come along and support local market vendors, enjoy great baking, listen to the beautiful singing and relax together. Watch this space! We are thinking of hosting another Market Day in the very near future!
The Vines ELC Christmas get-together
How lucky were we with the beautiful weather at our Children’s Christmas Party! It was great to be able to catch up and chat with so many families. How incredible was Wilson’s Bubble Show and balloon-twisting creations? We are very lucky to be amongst such a passionate and caring community here in Henderson.
Thank you for the part you play in such a great community!
Lastly, thank you to all our wonderful families for choosing us at The Vines to care for and educate your children. It’s certainly a pleasure to be able to provide a safe, happy and fun place for your family.
