(reminder that we are a nut-free centre)

Please bring a picnic blanket.

This is an out-of-centre hours event so all children will need to be accompanied by their caregivers.

Please remember to let us know your plans over the Christmas and New Year period as we need to let our staff know if they can have their holidays, too.

Happenings at The Vines

Last week we were lucky to be able to host a group of Japanese early education teachers at our early learning centre. We were selected along with another four Auckland childcare centres to be a part of this opportunity.

We had two groups attend, exploring our centre and observing what childcare looks like from a New Zealand perspective.

Our Japanese guests were able to interact with your wonderful children and our amazing teachers. Our preschoolers were able to learn some wonderful origami skills.

We hope the children enjoyed learning these new skills and hopefully, they shared their new origami skills at home with their families. Our Japanese guests said the experience at our Henderson early learning centre was very beneficial and we are proud that they were able to take away some valuable knowledge and observations from spending time within our centre.
